Mac Household Ledger Sync

This service connects one household Gmail account to a task ledger running on the household Mac. It helps link household tasks to relevant email context.

What it can access

When the account owner enables sync and grants permission, the ledger reads one configured household Gmail account using Google's gmail.readonly permission. It does not send, edit, label, archive, or delete Gmail messages. It does not fetch attachments.

How email context is used

The ledger indexes message metadata for household task links. A message body is fetched only when someone explicitly requests it for a present email linked to an active household task. If that context is requested through the connected assistant, the selected metadata or body is returned to that assistant; the assistant provider's own processing and retention policies apply.

Setup status: Gmail sync stays disabled until the account owner completes OAuth consent and separately activates the local sync. No Gmail content or OAuth token has been collected by this service as of October 3, 2026.
